日本ミネソタ会(Japan Minnesota Association)


日本ミネソタ会の発足:
 
 ミネソタ大学同窓会のメンバーが主となり1984年7月22日に第一回総会が南青山会館で開かれ日本ミネソタ会が発足しました。 この会の定款は1986年1月18日に正式に発行されました。
出身地: 東京南青山

目的は:

 アメリカ合州国ミネソタ州との親善、情報の交流並びにミネソタに興味のある

 会員相互の親睦を図ることを目的とします

 

何をするの(活動):

 1.会員名簿、ミネソタ通信やホームページによる情報の発行

 2.在米、在日のミネソタ州関係のアメリカ公的機関、法人、個人との交流・連絡
 3.日本のミネソタ州関係姉妹都市との連絡・提携

 4.会員のイベント、親睦会の開催

 5.その他幹事会が適当と認める諸活動

INTRODUCING JAPAN MINNESOTA ASSOCIATION

 

Japan Minnesota Association was established in July of 1984 as a society for those who lived in Minnesota and those who are interested in Minnesota.  Promoters were Hideo Takeichi, Shokichi Nakamura, Sadasuke Itoh, Tetsuya Okita, Tadatoshi Mori, Tsukasa Nishida, and Koji Toyama.

Mission of this society is to have good relations with Minnesota people and to promote mutual friendship among its members.

To achieve this mission, Japan Minnesota Association conducts following activities. 

1.        Promote friendship with Minnesota-related public organizations, private companies, and individuals in Japan. 

2.        Exchange information and working together with sister cities of Minnesota cities in Japan. 

3.        Hold socializing events for members. 

4.        Issue a newsletter

 

Japan Minnesota Association has three types of membership. 

Individual membership is for Japanese people who lived in Minnesota and their family.

Special membership is for a Japanese or an American who is related to Minnesota or who approves the mission of this association.

Corporate membership is for a school, a company, or an association which is related to Minnesota or which approves the mission of this association.

Now Japan Minnesota Association has more than 250 members.
